Publications
All members receive e-newsletters that include detailed articles about downtown projects, events, and other related news. Members are listed on our website with a 7-10 line description of their business, photo or logo, and contact information including a link to their website. Our members also receive promotional support through our monthly promotional e-newsletter to help market their business, services, deals and discounts. Additionally, members can use the HOTA logo in their advertising with approval.
Assistance/Advocacy
Members have access to staff for assistance with any issue affecting the success of downtown Arvada. The HOTA Board and staff also represent our members with various governmental entities on issues that affect the overall health and vitality of our downtown.
Networking
All members are invited to HOTA's annual meeting to discuss the progress of downtown revitalization and review the organizations efforts. All members are also invited to attend monthly merchant meetings to meet and greet other business leaders from the downtown community. Click here for the most recent merchant meeting minutes.
Involvement
Members may serve on committees and are also eligible for election to the Board of Directors. Input is also solicited from members on policy issues facing downtown and utilized in shaping advocacy efforts.
Business Liaison Services
Members also have access to staff to assist in determining which City services department is best suited to handle business requests like liquor licensing, construction permits, code enforcement and special event permits.
